Attica – John Hoover, 94, formerly of Attica, died in the Small Nursing Home at Waynetown at 2 p.m. Thursday. He was the last of a family of 10. Born in Edgar County, Illinois he came to Attica at the age of 10, then lived in Frankfort and Lafayette before returning to Attica. He lived here until going to the nursing home three years ago. He was a retired tinner and never was married. He has no survivors. - kbz
